The Magic Number is taking a break. We'll still be playing our existing dates but we won't be taking any new bookings for a little while. Stay tuned for more info...

Lately the only way you've been able to see The Magic Number has been by either having a milestone birthday or getting married. That's good for us because we've been eating some great dinners, but bad for you if you weren't invited to said celebrations! Don't despair, if you look to the right, you'll see that we've booked regular shows at our local pub at Hope Island. We still have some t-shirts to give away too.

This was actually news in 2009 but it didn't make the annual website update! Anyway, drummer extraordinaire Adam Walsh joined The Magic Number early last year and we started playing regularly at several Gold Coast venues and lots of private functions. He's always looking for new ways to impress us!

Then, in time for the start of 2010, the boys have been joined by singer Nikki Mcfadgean for some female-style vocals which, despite trying, they just couldn't pull off by themselves. Nikki has already appeared on stage at several shows and knocked everyone's socks off!
